RR crossing

A couple of weekends ago I went to a garage sale. I was late so most of the stuff had been picked over, but I did find this. What is it you may ask, well, it was a small table top.

I think the people at the garage sale were quite surprised I wanted it. This is what I turned it into...I think the boys will love the new addition to their room!

And all for $2 :)

Spring cleaning

In an effort to get a little spring cleaning done, I organized our laundry room! It's a pretty small room so I tried to make it as effecient as I could. I'm a big fan of these peg boards now!

this is the peg board and I organized the buckets by crayons, markers, string and ribbon, etc.

Yay, I finally have something to hang up the ironing board, broom, and mop :)

And last but not least a place for the 5 games we own.
The Big picture...And LOOK at this, can it even be possible... NO laundry in the laundry baskets. I've made it a goal to do a load a day from now on and I'm finally staying caught up with the laundry!!

conversation...

Devan woke up early this morning so Chad went and snuggled with him on the couch. Later Chad told me about this cute little talk they had.

Chad- You know I'll always take care of you right?
Devan- Yeh, I know.
Chad- Devan, what can I do for you?
Devan- hmmmm... (ponders the question for a bit) just love me.

Short and sweet. It actually made me cry when Chad told me, haha, I'm such a baby.

My little Artists

Look at Devan's masterpiece! The only problem is that it was made on my guest bedroom wall and done in permanent marker.

Meanwhile, his assistant (Tristan) added this to the work of art.

So now the question is... What color should I paint the guest room?

Valentine's Party

Yesterday I had a Valentine's party for the kids at my house. It was a lot of fun. We made Valentine bags, decorated sugar cookies, and exchanged valentine's. Their ended up being 12 kids + moms which made a pretty full house! I was pleasantly surprised by how well all of the kids played together and got along. Devan has really been into robots lately so I found some robot valentine's on familyfun.com to make and he loved them.

The Army of Robots

My new friend. Dez is the nicest girl and isn't her daughter cute! We met at story time at Barnes and Noble.
Devan and his friends Amanda, Abby, and Tanner. Amanda and Abby are in Devan's preschool group.

And you all know who this little stinker is!

Pump it up!

For a Christmas gift, James and Bree, gave my boys passes to "Pump it up". It's a kids place that has rooms full of those huge inflatables. Today was a perfect day to take advantage of our passes seeing as it had rained all last night and today (we have huge puddles in our yard!!!) They had such a good time. Devan especially loved it. Tristan was still a little young for some of the things, but had a blast anyway. And I got a good workout in helping Tristan climb up the inflatables! Devan loved it all, I noticed he was a pretty good basketball player while we were there. I might have to get him a hoop for his birthday. Tristan especially liked the slide (I'd ride down it with him, and it actually was a rush for me too!), and he also really liked a room that had a bunch of balls in it. I thought we would probably be there the whole time, but after and hour and a half I could tell the boys were exhausted. Now I'm enjoying some "me" time while they take a nice long nap! Thanks James and Bree for the awesome gift :)
