Ay, Caramba!

OK, my friend Michelle Ottley gave me this salsa recipe. It's so good, easy, and addicting, that it makes me want to say Ay, Caramba! It takes less than 5 minutes and is sooo much better than the tomato paste salsa you buy in the store. In fact, we like it as well as the salsa we used to make that took almost an hour to prepare. So without further ado, I give you the recipe...

1 large can diced tomatoes
1 regular size can petite diced tomatoes
1/4 cup cilantro, packed down
6 green onions
1 small can green chilies
garlic salt or powder to taste

Mix large can of tomatoes, cilantro, onions, chilies, and garlic with food processor or other fine mixer. Then add petite diced tomatoes.

Now on a totally different topic... What to do with Devan. He can be such a stinker sometimes. The other day, he was taking a nap so I went downstairs to do some work. Well, I usually put my laptop away, but I thought it would be fine since he was napping. About a half hour later I heard him so I went upstairs and found Devan pulling the keys off my laptop! He had pulled off well over 10 of them. To top it off he had pushed the screen all the way back and it was black. I thought it was ruined for sure. I was so mad I was shaking. Luckily it wasn't broke, but it took me forever to get the keys back on. I couldn't even take a picture because we still haven't replaced the camera he broke!

Looks good.I'll have to try it. So this is an odd way to get a hold of you but I can't find your email address... so I went to Michelle's blog and came to yours. I want to talk to you about "a" baby shower! --Thanks, Lexi Martin

Hi! YEY! I love salsa! As far as Devan, Oh no! There such the characters aren't they? I get so worried when I think of Kylar getting older. He already throws temper tantrums! Yikes!

Oh my gosh Lana. I would be flipping out myself. So what was the problem with the screen, I mean, why was it black? Mischievous little monsters! Ha!

Oh, and canned tomatoes are the best! Such a great short cut! That salsa does rock. I ate a whole cup that one night at your place.

Thank you for the Salsa recipe- I can't wait to try it. As for Devan, he must get his mischievous side from his dad because YOU were never like that:)

I would die if I caught my kid doing that to something that expensive. If they want to mess with something, unroll the TP or something. Sure, it's a pain to clean up but you're only out 50 cents, if that. I always know when mischief is happening when my house gets real quiet. Then it's time to investigate.
