Enjoying the warm weather
I've been loving this warm weather! The other day we set the sprinkler out in the yard for the first time this year.
Devan LOVED it.

Fire Station
Yesterday we had a mom and tots activity at the firestation. Devan was really excited to go, but once we got there he was tired and grumpy. So he wasn't in the best mood while we were there, but he's been talking about seeing the big fire truck ever since.

Easter
We had a fun Easter. The boys found their Easter baskets in the morning, we ate a breakfast the Easter bunny had left (carrot raisin muffins and hard boiled eggs), went to church, came home and had a Luau Easter dinner (Kalua pig, sticky rice, noodle salad, and pina colada's), had an Easter egg hunt, and then relaxed the rest of the day! Holiday's really have a whole new meaning with kids. It was so much fun watching the boys open up eggs. I put matchbox cars in some of them and Devan LOVED it. He would toss the ones with candy to the side until he'd find one with a car. I was impressed with Tristan's egg hunting skills. He knew just what to do!

trouble makers
I was looking at blogs and Tristan kept coming up and driving his car along my laptop and then he would try and pull down the screen.
Me- Tristan, you're turning into a trouble maker.
Tristan (with a huge grin on his face)- Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah!
Devan (feeling left out)- I'm a trouble maker too Mom!

Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday we took the boys to the Helotes Easter Egg hunt. The boys only got 1 egg, but they still had a fun time. They had put kids 5 and under in a group together and withing 30 seconds you couldn't see a single egg! It was pretty intense. Devan didn't seem to mind to much, but some of the kids were crying and pretty sad. I felt bad for them! We're having a few people over for an Easter Egg hunt Thursday so hopefully that will go better.

You're kidding
Devan still sleeps in our bed...I know, he's 3 years old and he shouldn't, but even if we fight with him half of the night to sleep in his own bed, in the morning we find him right snug between us.
Tonight after I put him to bed (in our bed) I sat outside the door to make sure he stayed put. He came out a few minutes later and sat down next to me.
Me- Devan go back into bed or you'll have to sleep in your bed by yourself.
Devan- (*hugs me and continues to hold me, looks up and smiles) You're kidding Mom, you're kidding
Me- (*trying not to laugh) No, Devan, I'm very serious, you will have to sleep by yourself if you don't get back in bed right now!
Devan-(*hugs me again, and lets a little giggle) You're kidding, you're kidding
SIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH, Why doesn't anyone take me serious? Oh and as I type this he is plugging my nose and asking to watch Thomas, Fox News, and the Disney Channel. Oh wait, now he's grabbing my empty plate and congratulating me on finishing my sandwich..."Yay mom, you ate your sandwich all gone." (as he claps)
