Only in Texas...

Yesterday, while on our way home, a car came speeding by recklessly in the lane next to Chad and I, only to come to an abrupt halt at the stop light close ahead. When we were once again parallel with the car, Chad looked over to see what kind of crazy person would be driving like that. What he saw caught us by surprise, it was a young lady drinking a bud light as she was driving! We were totally shocked. Needless to say, we jotted down her license plate and called her in to the police. Really, who does that though. Only in Texas! Here's some other things you might find only in Texas...

A Texas car wash

A Texas Limousine

Yes, we fully support the right to bare arms

A police officer clocking vehicles

Classy

In Idaho we have snow cone stands, In Washington there's lots of coffee stands, but in Texas we have drive-thru liquor stands

Flying Texas style

Now this is just sad

I bet you guys were so frustrated, Here in Utah they smoke bongs while driving.(NO really we caught some teenagers smoking a bong as they were driving so we called the police too!)
I'm excited to know you're coming in October. We definately will have to hang out!
You're website looks adorable!

They really do have a lone star state of mind. We have friends living somewhere in Texas and being from Montana they describe it as sweaty. Where is your family at?

Lana, I came across your blog from the RHS site and thought I'd say hello. My husband is from San Antonio and we thought those pictures were pretty funny.

Hi Ariana, I wanted to say hi also, but your blog is set to private, so hopefully you look back at this. I saw on the school blog your husband is from San Antonio. That's cool, do you guys ever make it down here? You know, I really shouldn't be picking on Texans being from Rigby and all :)
